KATHLEEN Isabella Mackie (nee Metcaffe) who died at her home in Co Down on May 8th,in her 97th year was an Irish artist whose distinction came to public notice only towards the end of a PADDY MACKIE - Youngest son of Kathleen Mackie. His interest in and support of Irish Art and it's artists led to the inclusion of a gallery at Castle Espie Conservation Centre in Co.
